The Decree-Law No. 102-B/2020 of 9 December, which amended the road traffic law and some supplementary legislation, came into force on January 8, 2021. On April 20, 2020, the first major revision to the Traffic Signalling Regulation (RST) approved by Regulatory Decree No. 22 -A/98 of October 1, which aims to improve and update road signs in accordance with the Highway Code and in alignment with the objectives of the National Strategic Plan for Road Safety - PENSE 2020, enters into force.
